Beach Bound!

We are having a GREAT summer so far and are preparing for a trip to the beach this Friday! Just the three of us are going and I am so looking forward to it. Josh works a lot now with his new job so it is a much needed break for him and some quality time together.

Proud new Sister!

I am happy to announce that Kris and I have a new (puppy) brother!

For those of you that do not know, my mother's schnauzer died about 2 weeks ago. As you can imagine, she has had a difficult time but really wanted a new puppy. Well, we have been on the hunt and today it came to an end. Landon and I went and picked out a Maltipoo and he is super cute. I am posting a picture but it does not do him justice!

Mini beach trip

Josh had to attend a conference in Atlantic Beach this week so Landon and I tagged along to play. It was a very family oriented conference and another family went so Landon had playmates the whole time. The weather was wonderful and we all had a great time!

Landon liked the beach, but really is more of a pool boy. He does not like sand all over him (just like his mother). Despite that, we did get some beach time, but a lot of pool time. We will be going to Myrtle Beach in Auguse so hopefully we will get more beach time then.

Durham Bulls Game

Last Thursday night we went to the Durham Bulls Game with some friends from church. We had front row seats and the boys got "real" balls from the pitching coach. They thought it was SUPER cool! We all had a great time and I am sure we will bo back soon.
