After church we headed back to mom's for Christmas with her. The kids tore through their gifts. They loved what Ma gave them and then we came home to get ready for Santa.

Christmas Eve 2013
There was a lot of excitement in the air when we woke up Christmas Eve. Both boys could not wait for Santa to come. We spent the day hanging out at home, we let the kids open their presents from us and then we headed to my mom's for a little bit. We went to church from there for the Christmas Eve Service. We chose the kid friendly one and it proved to be quite interesting. Parker chose to be an angel and Landon chose to be a Shephard. Parker was totally cool with going on stage but after a while he got tired of standing so he laid down and then started rolling down the steps. I had to pull him off the stage but he surely entertained everyone else.

Leopold and Snowflake
Our elf, Leopold showed up a few days after Thanksgiving this year. The boys were beyond excited to see him back. A few days later he came back from the North Pole with a girl elf. I could not believe how excited Landon was. Parker was a little but not nearly as much as Landon. They spent the day trying to come up with a name and settled on Snowflake. They spent the rest of the season scheming together:) Their favorite was waking up to their red noses:)
Here are some of the pics I remembered to take.

Preschool Christmas Play
This is Parker's first year and preschool and he is in the 3 year old class. With that comes the Christmas play. His class got to be the sheep. We were unsure how he would do, but he was awesome! He wore his costume, sang the songs and did the hand motions. I was one proud momma!
Christmas 2013
Christmas 2013 was an awesome Christmas! It was Ansley's first one, it was my mom's first time hosting Christmas Eve in her new house and it was a season of celebrating Jesus's birthday. The boys really understand that is the reason we celebrate and are always excited to sing "Happy Birthday" to him on Christmas Day. I am going to include lots of pictures from the holidays since I am so far behind.
Our annual gingerbread decorating with the Jones Family, the many outfits of Ansley, outing to a light show, pj pictures and more:)

Picking out the perfect Christmas Tree
I love Christmas time...it's my favorite holiday and always has been. I love decorating, the shopping, wrapping presents, all the events/parties and of course celebrating Jesus's birthday with my family. Picking out the tree is always fun but a little stressful b/c it has to be the perfect tree. This year I decided we would go and pick the first one we all liked. It was the easiest/most painless tree selection so far. Here are a few pictures of the kids at the tree farm!
Also, a few from decorating:)

Thanksgiving 2013
This Thanksgiving was special for a couple of reasons, one because it was Ansley's first one and two because it was the first one that my mom hosted at her new house:) We have so many things to be thankful for and we are blessed with so much. I am thankful for a God that loves us, my awesome friends, my wonderful family! My little family of 5 has blessed me in so many ways and they make me want to be a better mom, wife, friend and daughter!
We spent the first part of the day with Josh's family just haging out and eating snacks. We left there and went to my mom's house where we joined my brother and his family for dinner. It was another great Thanksgiving!

Ansley is 10 months old!
On November 22 Ansley turned 10 months old! I cannot believe that my baby is already 10 months old. She has been busy this month for sure! She really got into crawling this month, she's pulling up on things and she is so busy!
She is pretty much eating whatever we are eating and still taking a bottle every 3-4 hrs. She is still a good sleeper and takes great naps! She is clapping, waving, saying "baby", and trying to blow kisses. Getting her to sit still for a picture is quite a challenge now:)
