More summer memories...

We have spent a fair amount of time at the pool this summer. Landon has turned into quite the swimmer and it is so nice. He has impressed us both. In early summer, Parker would just hang out in his float and be content for a long time. Now he wants to get down, crawl all over the place and is in and out. Not quite as much fun for me but none the less he seems to like being there!

Soccer 2010

Landon is playing soccer this Spring. He was super excited about it, I think because Josh decided to coach this time. He does a pretty good job in practice (when he does not think he is Josh's assistant) but he is just not into the games yet. We asked him if he was enjoying it and he says "YES!"

So, who knows if this will be his sport...I know Josh would like for it to be! Here are a few pics from the season so far...

Walking????

Well, Parker is not walking officially, but he is taking some steps now. It really started yeaterday, but this afternoon he was taking about 4 steps, looking at me in shock and then went to a crawling position. I wanted to document it here, no pics...sorry!

I am betting by his first birthday, which is around the corner, he will be fully walking! Where has the time gone????

10 Months!

WOW, can it be true???? Parker is 10 months old today!!!! Where has the time gone? My little baby is almost 1 year old and that makes me so sad. I have so enjoyed him as a baby and really wish he could stay that way.

He has had a busy month! We went to the beach, many pool visits, trips to the lake and to watch his big bother play soccer! He is standing up by himself and cruising big time. He will be walking soon. He has 4 teeth coming in on top and 2 already in on the bottom. He is still a great eater and sleeps like and angel. He is babbling all the time and has the cutest, biggest grin! He is happy 90% of the time and just a fun baby!!!

We cannot wait to see what the next month has in store for our little boy! We love you Parker and thank God everyday you are in our lives!!!

Mini Vacation

This past weekend we packed up the troops and headed to Wrightsville Beach for the weekend! Josh had a conference there so we all tagged along. It was a very family friendly event and a great way to spend the weekend!!!

Parker really liked the beach until he ate the sand and then it was over! He still loves to play in the pool and of course snack time at the pool is fun too! Landon LOVES all water and has turned into a pretty good swimmer this year. I am so impressed with his skills this year. It is a new found freedom...nice for him and us! He liked the beach as well but the pool is still the favorite.

We will return to the beach in September for our "real" vacation when Landon and I track out. We are going with my brother, sister-in-law and nephew!! Should be lots of fun!!!!
