More pics of Ansley...6 months old

Ansley is 6 months old!

We are half way to 1 years old already....where o where has the time gone and someone please make it slow down!  I cannot believe my baby girl is already 6 months old...she is still such a sweet, easy going baby.  She is rolling all over the place, loves playing with her toys and can sit with some help:)  We are continuing to introduce her to new foods and for the most part she likes them all, except squash!  She is eating two meals a day now and the sippy cup has been introduced.  She is doing really well with the cup and enjoys have her drink (water) with her meals now.  She is saying da-da (of course) and making other sounds that I am not real sure mean anything yet.  She has the cutest belly laugh and smiles most of the time.  She is still taking 2-3 naps(depending on how long she sleeps) and still does pretty good at night, sometimes waking up one time.  She is still a huge fan of Landon and is starting to be entertained by Parker too(only because he is finally starting to want to entertain her).

Her official stats are 15lbs 15oz (48%), 27.5in (90%)!  She is still wearing some 3-6 month clothes but we are moving into some 6-9 months:)

Summer fun at the lake!

We spend a lot of time at the lake in the summer!  The boys absolutely love going to 'papa's lake!"  I am pretty sure they would go every weekend if we could.  I imagine that Ansley will love it as much when she gets older, she is already enjoyimg boat rides.  We have had another great summer making memories that will last a lifetime.  From swimming in the lake, riding the boat, cruising on the jetski, playing in the baby pool on the deck, the slip-n-slide, many golf cart rides to visit the animals, slumber parties with cousins and lots of family time:)  We are so lucky that we get to enjoy this beautiful place every summer and we look forward to many more trips!

Happy Birthday Papa Dunbar!

We celebrated Papa Dunbar's birthday in July!  We made his favorite dinner and homemade cupcakes.  The kids are so lucky to have such a wonderful papa.  He spends so much time with them and loves them so much.  I am so glad they have such a special relationship with him!

3rd Grade!

3rd grade...really????  I  know I say this every year, but man, 3rd grade seems so old!  How do I have a child in the 3rd grade already???  Landon has a male teacher this year for the first time and he is excited about that.  He is ready for school to start back, I hope he always feels this way about school:)  3rd grade is a big transition year and I know he will do well!  Can't wait to see all the new things he will learn this year!!!

Happy July 4th!!

We celebrated July 4th with a day at the pool and our annual cookout/fireworks at the Jones's house!  Josh does not get many opportunities to go to the pool so we always take advantage of going on the 4th.  We spent the several hours there and then headed home for naps.  After naps we joined the Wellers at the Jones house for funtimes!  We ate and did our annual firework show.  The kids look forward to this every year and it's amazing how excited they get over the not so big fireworks we set off.  However, our neighbors go all out and we have big fireworks all around us.  This was Ansley's first 4th and she was a trooper as always.  She liked the fireworks (she saw them on the 3rd) but slept through our show at the Jones house.  We look forward to many more fourths with friends and family!

Camp Don Lee....Part 2

As expected, Landon had a great time at camp but did get a little homesick.  He ended up having to call home on Wed and Thurs morning because he was so homesick.  However, he made it through the week and he had a great experience!  He had fabulous counselors who were great role models and helped him out so much when he was feeling sad.  He was excited to see us when we got there on Sat and I have to admit, I was happy to see him too.  He showed us around camp and told us all the cool things he got to do.  I think the highlights were the sailing, canoeing, and swimming.  He is already making plans to go back next year!

Here are some pics from pick up day...

His view for the week:)
