We are alive!

I know that it has been forever since I have updated the blog. I PROMISE to get it updated by this weekend. We have been busy and there are plenty of pictures to share!

Stud!

As I posted previuosly, Landon is all about a suit these days. Here is a picture of him in his black suit(seasonally appropriate this time). He has proclaimed himself the "stud." He and Josh have a stud contest in Sunday mornings before church. It started as a way to get him dressed but now he looks forward to it. Somehow, he always wins.....mom is the judge!

Pirates and Clowns!

Last weekend Landon went to Edward's Pirate party! The kids made pirate hats, got tattoos, went on a treasure hunt, played and ate lots of good food. Landon had a great time and is still acting like he is a pirate!

On Sunday we went to the cicus. This was Landon's 3rd year going but he really got into it this year. We had a fabulous time as always!

It has been a while!

I have not posted anything in a while but there has not been too much going on. Life has been pretty quiet and we are just going with the flow.

Landon spent the night with his Nana and Papa last Sat (for the 1st time) and loved it! He was suppose to come home after church but he wanted to go back to their house. I think he finally came home around 5pm on Sunday. We are so glad that he is wanting to spend the night with people now!

The next few weekends are filled with birthday parties, the circus and who knows what else. Hopefully there will be more pics to post then. Here are a couple random ones. Note the one with Landon in a suit. He is all about wearing a suit there days...even if it is a linen suit in the middle of the winter!

Snow Days!

So we all know that it is rare for the Raleigh area to get snow but we woke up to about 2 1/2 inches this morning and it is still snowing! I think we are up to about 4 1/2 inches now and Landon is so excited. Some of the kids in the neighborhood came over and went sleding down the hill at our house.
I have to say I woke up around midnight to peak outside to see if it was snowing. Not because I wanted a day off (which I already knew I had) but I REALLY wanted Landon to see and be able to play in the snow.

Handy Men!

Last weekend Josh and Landon replaced the kitchen faucet for me. We have had horrible water pressure for months now and have tried numerous fixes, all of which failed! Thanks to the Jones's for doing a little research on the faucets we both had, they replaced theirs first and it worked! So, we did ours next and guess what.....it WORKED! I am a much happier camper now that I can wash dished a little quicker!

Birthday cont'd

Landon had his birhtday party at school the first week after the Christmas break. I made Diego cupcakes and got to hang out in his class for lunch/cupcakes. It was quite a treat! Landon of course LOVED having me there and showed me everything in his class (like I have never seen it before, right?).
