Hillridge Farms

Well, this past Saturday the boys and I were solo, so I decided to take the boys to Hillridge Farms, which is in Youngsville, which is about an hour from our house. Josh's parents graciously agreed to go with us to help out and boy am I glad they did!

There were a ton of people but lots to do! There was a hayride, train ride, pony ride, you could feed the animals, ride a huge slide, climb in tunnels, play in hay, mine for gems and so on. Landon had a great time and thanks to Nana and Papa he got to do pretty much everything while I chassed Parker around. It was a beautiful day and I had two tired kids when we got home!

Happy 1st Birthday Parker!

Wow....my baby is one today! I cannot believe that he is already one, it has flown by. I have been a little sad about his birthday coming. I think it is b/c I know how fast kids grow now and I want him to stay little.

Josh and I are so thankful God gave us this little boy! He is a sweet, funny and a laid back baby. He has brought so much joy to all of us, especially his big brother, who adores him so much. We are truly blessed and cannot wait to see what the future holds with him.

9 YEARS!

Josh and I are celebrating our 9th anniversary today!!! I cannot believe that we have been married for 9 years. We have a great marriage and I could not ask for a better husband and father for my children. We have been blessed with 2 beautiful boys and a great family!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Pumpkins, Pumpkins and more Pumpkins!

After church last Sunday, we headed out to the pumpkin patch to pick the "right" pumpkin. Parker just liked walking around and touching all of the pumpkins. I hate to admit this, but Landon is a lot like me when picking out a pumpkin or a Christmas tree...it takes FOREVER! He looked for the "perfect" one. After he found our family pumpkin, he had the daunting task of finding one for him and Parker.

We all love this time of year and are excited about all the festivities ahead of us!

1st haircut!

We took Parker to get his first haircut on September 18th! We were not sure how he would do because he is so busy but he did great! We just got it shaped up and he looks like such a big boy now!

11 months!

Parker was 11 months old on September 13th, but am just now getting around to posting. He is walking so much better now and is SUPER busy! He notices everything, climbs everything and wants to be in the middle of what is going on. He is such a sweet baby. He likes to love on you, loves to dance (favorite dance song is a Justin Beiber song, thanks to Landon), actually plays with toys, likes to band thangs on the hardwood floors(not my favorite). He has 5 teeth and another one coming in. I am not sure exactly how much he weighs, but my guess is around 23lbs. He is wearing 12 month clothes, some 12-18months!

We are so blessed everyday with this little man and look forward to the many adventures with him!! We will be celebrating his 1st birthday in October!
