Easter 2014

Kind of crazy that I am just getting around to posting Easter pictures in June....but I am determined to get caught back up!

We dyed Easter eggs as always with a little help from Abby this year!  It's such a simple thing yet they have so much fun doing it.  The Easter bunny always hides these eggs and the kids love hunting them Easter morning. 
Of course they were excited to see what the Easter bunny had brought them and I was excited to see them all dressed up!  However, the most important reason was to celebrate the HE indeed had risen!  We try really hard to make sure the kids know the real meaning behind Easter and why we celebrate it! 
We headed to church (after lots of tears and resistance to pictures).  We attempted to get another picture at church with the whole family (yet another epic fail).  After church we came home and got things ready for lunch.  We have been doing this for years and look forward to it every year.  Lots of people, great food and lots of great memories.  Of course the kids LOVE the egghunt and all the stuff they get.  I love watching the kids scramble to get the eggs and I love that the number of kids seems to grow every year!

Ansley's First Haircut

I decided on a whim that Ansley needed to get her hair trimmed (March 26, 2014).  I was taking Landon so I figured I would take her to get it trim.  For those of you who know Ansley know she has a lot of hair and it can be WILD.  She sat in my lap and did a pretty good job.  Here are a few pictures Landon took for me:)

Track Out Fun!

While Landon and I were tracked out this past March we decided to take the boys to Great Wolf Lodge.  Thanks to Ma we were able to leave Ansley with her and just focus on the boys.  The week started off with me having the stomach bug so we were not sure if we would make it.  Thursday rolled around and I was feeling better, not great, but better.  We spent the day at the water park and enjoyed dinner and the show that night.  On Fri we headed back to the water park for a few hours.  Just as we were leaving Landon got sick right outside the hotel.  Needless to say it was a long ride home but we had lots of fun before he got sick!

Ansley post birthday!

Ansley is growing and changing so much.  I know I take more pictures of her right now b/c of that and want to make sure I capture it all!  Here are some of her since her birthday:)

Cavaliers Basketball

Landon played basketball again this year and while I feel like we are playing "real" games now it was not the best season ever.  Landon's team won one game all year but I have to give them credit..they never stopped trying and Landon never complained about going or about loosing all the time!

Valentine's Day 2014

We don't make a big deal out of Valentine's Day around here.  The kids get a little something and we usually just spend the evening at home.  Josh was home from work due to the snow so we went to Chick Filet with the kids for lunch and then cooked dinner at home!
