Memorial Day Weekend

We spent the weekend with my side of the family at my father's lake house which has become an annual tradition since Landon was born. The weather was great and we all had a nice and relaxing weekend.

Landon did a lot of fishing, jet ski riding and boat riding. He LOVED the jet skiis this year and we actually got to go fast (for him). Last year we only got up to about 7mph...this year..35mph! This was a great start to many more weekends at the lake!

End of the year picnic

Landon completed his first year of preschool with a school wide picnic. It was chaotic and unorganized, but the kids had a blast. Landon appears excited that school is out but is already asking when he gets to go back.

Last Day of Preschool!

Today was Landon's last official day of preschool for this school year. He has his picnic on Thursday, but today was the last day at school. He has had a great year and we were so blessed to have two great teachers!

The Big Game...(or first practice!)

Today was Landon's first soccer lesson (although he called it his game). He has been super excited about playing soccer and especially since his buddy Colby, Jacob and Brennan are playing with him. We went last night and got him some "real" soccer shorts to go with the soccer shirt they gave him today. He LOVED it and did a great job listening to the coach. Of course I took lots of pictures and video but I will only post a few.....too cute!

After soccer we went to the park and played on the playground and walked around the paths. It has been such a beautiful day and we have enjoyed spending quality time together.

Virus Free!

I stayed home with Landon yesterday because he was still not himself and still had a little fever. We had a great day together and he appeared to be better. Last night we went on a walk and he did not talk at all...we all know that Landon talks ALOT! He had a slight fever but after a bath and some motrin he seemed to feel better.
He woke up this morning with no fever and no symptoms! He actually ate breakfast and drank juice. I kept him home from school but sent him to Amy's house. Colby is also better so HOPEFULLY they will have a good day playing together.

Happy Mother's Day Weekend!!!!

We have had a very nice weekend (except for the sickness that we have now...more about that later). Friday, Landon and I visited the Apple Family and their new addition....baby Analee.....she is too cute! Then Friday night, Landon, Josh and I took dinner to the Lehman Family who also welcomed a new addition to their family....baby Jonathan.....another cutie!

Saturday was such a beautiful day. We played outside and then went to Mackenzie's 1st birthday party...WOW, I can't believe she is already 1 yrs old! We had a great time at the party and then Landon took a nap. After nap time it was off to Abby's (our niece's) dance recital...she did a fabulous job! After the recital, the whole crew went out for dinner.

Mother's Day has been quite rainey but it was still a nice day. Landon woke up with a fever and has it on and off today. His best buddy Colby is also sick. Best friends share germs as well!! We did meet my mother in Burlington for lunch and then did a little shopping (for Landon of course.) When we got home Landon crashed and woke up with a 102 fever and has felt pretty bad the rest of the day. Looks like mommy will be home tomorrow...YEA!!!!

Zoo Trip!

This past weekend we made a trip to the Asheboro zoo. Landon LOVES the gorillas and polar bears. That is all he wanted to see. We had great weather and a great time! Here are some pictures from our trip...ENJOY!

Where do they get this stuff????

Last night we put Landon to bed around 8:50pm. About 9:30pm we heard little feet coming down the stairs. I asked him why he was awake and he told me that "he was laying in the bed and his nose was making funny noises!" So of course Josh and I both laughed and sent him back upstairs. He certainly deserves an A for creativity!
