I could not resist!!

Landon has this blue foamy soap that he likes to use in the bathtub. He and Josh decided to use it to paint his body (and cover up private parts) and I could not resisit snapping this picture.

Halloween Already??????

We were out last night at BJ's Wholesale Club and Landon spotted this monkey costume. He fell in love with it and said that is what he wanted to be for Halloween (we will see when October gets here) and that he had "always wanted to be a monkey!"

So, needless to say, we officially have a monkey living in our house!!!!

Over already?

Where did the summer go? I have officially gone back to work and Landon is back at Amy's! School officially starts tomorrow for the kids so we are back to business as usual.
Landon will meet his new teachers this week and start preschool after Labor Day! I think he is ready to go back...he is SUPER excited to be in the 3 year old class. He did not mind going back to Amy's house (althought I knew he wouldn't) b/c he loves it there! Other kids to play with all day long...every child's dream!


We have had a great summer and am sad to see it come to an end. Although, it means football season is upon us and we are always ready to support the PACK! Landon LOVES football games and has been asking for the last few months when we get to go to another one.

we visited my mother this past Sunday and got to spend time with her new baby. Landon LOVES that puppy and could not wait to get there to see him. He has been such a sweet addition to the family!

First camp out

Josh and Landon had their first "camp out" this past Saturday night. We were not sure if Landon would stay out all night, but he did! He is ready to go camping in the woods...he thinks he is an expert now!

Super Heroes Everywhere!

Landon's best buddy, Colby, turned 4 this past weekend. He had a Super Hero party which was a huge hit! The kids got to make masks, complete tasks to help them become Super Heroes and of course they got to eat cake and ice cream. Amy did a fabulous job on the capes and the games and everyone had a great time!

Back to Reality!

We are back from our week long beach trip! We had a fabulous time and got lots of rest. We decided before we went that we would not do the beach/pool everyday so that Landon (and us) would not get tired of it. To say the least, it was a great plan.

We did some shopping, we played put- putt, we went to the water park(which was a huge hit), we rode rides (also another hit) and of course we played on the beach and in the pool. Landon loved it all and LOVED the ocean this trip. He wanted to go out far (for him of course) and body surf back in. He played in the sand and brought LOTS of seashells home for everyone.

I have to honestly say that I was not looking forward to returning home. It was nice to get away and spend some quality time together. Landon was glad to be home and was super excied to see Colby...his best buddy!
