We headed out to Carter Finley this past Sat for the last football game of the season.  The pack pulled it out with a HUGE comeback...GO PACK!!!

NC State Homecoming 2011

It has kind of become a tradition to attend the NC State Homecoming Parade.  This year, like last year, we met the Fisher Family and had dinner afterwards.  It is the perfect parade for little people because it only lasts about 10 minutes. 

Halloween 2011

As in years past, we went to the Jones's house for dinner before trick or treating.  The kids enjoy getting together and going all over the neighborhood together.  This year it was cold and raining so Josh took the van and drove along side of us with Parker.  We got Parker out for a few houses and then he sat in the van with his sucker and a movie and he was content the rest of the night.  Landon hung in there and we made our way through the normal spots.  He got lots of candy and lots of fun with his buddies!

Pumpkin Carving...

As usual we carved our pumpkin the night before Halloween.  Landon and Josh took care of it and I took the pictures.  Parker would not have much to do with it.  Here is the finished product!

Ken's Corn Maze

We took the kids the day before Halloween to Ken's Corn Maze.  Landon and Josh had been before when Landon was in preschool so we decided to all try it out.  The corn maze was long and the kids lost interest after an hour or so.  However, they loved the other things they had.  There was a big pit of corn, slides, other mazes and you could even milk a fake cow!

Happy 10th Anniversary!!!

Josh and I celebrated our 10th anniversary on October 13th!  We decided we would take a trip to celebrate(without our kids)!  We left on the 21st and headed to New Orleans.  We spent a day there and then left for a cruise.  We enjoyed New Orleans, the food, shopping and people watching.  We set sail on the 22nd for Progresso and Cozumel Mexico.  We had a fabulous time!  We ate, slept, read, slept, ate...We enjoyed spending the time together and look forward to the next 10 years!!!

Thanks mom for keeping the boys so we could go!!!

NC State Fair 2011

We headed out for the State Fair for a fun filled night with the kids!  Parker rode a few more rides than last year and loved them (as long as one of us was with him).  Landon rode lots of rides and got to hold the baby chicks which is his favorite.  We ate a little bit of food and then headed home.  All in all we had a great time!

Y Guides...

Josh and Landon have started Y Guides this year.  It is similiar to Boys Scouts except all the activities are done as father/son.  They have had a couple of meetings, a day camping trip and have many more activities planned.

So I am a little behind and am going to try and get caught up from the last month....

Landon's soccer season ended in October and I think he and Josh were ready for a break.  We certainly saw improvement in Landon and at this point his passion is goalie!  After the last practice we rewarded the kids with cupcakes and their trophies.
