State Fair!

We took the boys to the NC State Fair this past week. Landon has been several times but of course this was Parker's first "taste" of the fair! Landon's favorite this year was the animals and Parker loved the food...big surprise I know. All in all, it was a great time and we look forward to next year's fair!

Soccer Celebration!

Landon's soccer season ended on the 16th and he had a great team this year! Josh coached and was great with the kids. We decided to do a cookout/trophy ceremony at our house so the kids could play and the parents could talk. It was a great turn out and the kids had a blast!

Landon improved this year, scoring several goals and playing good defense. He seems to like playing and is ready to start back up!

Not sure what happened to my Hillridge Farms pics, but I am going to try again....

Hillridge Farms

Well, this past Saturday the boys and I were solo, so I decided to take the boys to Hillridge Farms, which is in Youngsville, which is about an hour from our house. Josh's parents graciously agreed to go with us to help out and boy am I glad they did!

There were a ton of people but lots to do! There was a hayride, train ride, pony ride, you could feed the animals, ride a huge slide, climb in tunnels, play in hay, mine for gems and so on. Landon had a great time and thanks to Nana and Papa he got to do pretty much everything while I chassed Parker around. It was a beautiful day and I had two tired kids when we got home!

Happy 1st Birthday Parker!

Wow....my baby is one today! I cannot believe that he is already one, it has flown by. I have been a little sad about his birthday coming. I think it is b/c I know how fast kids grow now and I want him to stay little.

Josh and I are so thankful God gave us this little boy! He is a sweet, funny and a laid back baby. He has brought so much joy to all of us, especially his big brother, who adores him so much. We are truly blessed and cannot wait to see what the future holds with him.

9 YEARS!

Josh and I are celebrating our 9th anniversary today!!! I cannot believe that we have been married for 9 years. We have a great marriage and I could not ask for a better husband and father for my children. We have been blessed with 2 beautiful boys and a great family!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!

Pumpkins, Pumpkins and more Pumpkins!

After church last Sunday, we headed out to the pumpkin patch to pick the "right" pumpkin. Parker just liked walking around and touching all of the pumpkins. I hate to admit this, but Landon is a lot like me when picking out a pumpkin or a Christmas tree...it takes FOREVER! He looked for the "perfect" one. After he found our family pumpkin, he had the daunting task of finding one for him and Parker.

We all love this time of year and are excited about all the festivities ahead of us!
