Trunk 'N Treat

We missed Trunk 'N Treat at our church this weekend so we went to Monica and Benny's church. We have done this the past 2 years and Landon has enjoyed it.

If you notice in these pictures, Landon has a different costume than the monkey costume. Josh's parents brought him some dress up outfits and this was one of those outfits....stayed tuned to what he will decide to be for Halloween this Friday!!!!

Pumpkin Party!

We took Landon to a Pumpkin Decorating party on Sunday. His buddies Ashby and Zach hosted (well, really his parents) and the kids had a blast! Mrs. Katina had every decoration you can imagine to decorate a pumpkin. Landon really enjoyed that and his pumpkin turned out very cute!

Halloween Party

The group decorating their treat bags....

The boys and their candy cigarettes! We all remember these....

Dylan and Jacob

Eating some delicious food!!!

Of course you cannot get everyone to look at the same time....but they were all too cute!

Last night, our church dinner club got together for our monthly dinner. It of course, was a Halloween theme and all the kids came in their costumes. The kids had a blast playing and the adults had a great time having adult conversations. We have a great group and the kids play pretty well together.

We had delicious food and the Purvis Family went all out on treats for the kids. They decroated bags, Ms. Amy filled them up and they played a marshallow game (I think they enjoyed eating the marshmellows more than the game). All in all, it was a great night of fellowship and fun!!!!

NC State Fair

It's that time of year again....the NC State Fair! We took Landon this past Tuesday and of course, he loved it as usual. When we first got there he rode the ponies and then it was on to the rides. We rode rides, played a game or two, ate dinner and of course some of those awesome donuts they have, watched the pig race (which was the highlight) and saw the rest of the animals. Landon decided he wanted to stand in line to milk a cow. We paid our $2.00 and when it was our turn, Landon went right up and sat down. Once he touched the utters, that was all she wrote....we considered it a donation and took his picture rubbing the cow. It was pretty funny to watch his face when the girl showed him how you milk the cow....he was a little freaked out by it!

All in all, we had a great time and will be back again next year!

Fort!

Working hard!

The fort!

Josh and Landon have been working/playing outside all day. Landon found a lot of sticks/logs/rocks and decided they needed to make something. Josh decided they could build a fort (which he loves doing). I was informed that mommies do not know how to make forts.....HA!

Here are some pictures of their project.......

Cron Maze!

Landon and I met his cousins yesterday at the Corn Maze in Fuquay. It started raining when we got there but appeared it was going to stop. We made it through the maze before it really started to rain but unfortunately it rained before they could do everything. They did ride the barrel/tractor ride and some pedal cars in the rain but then we had to call it quits. The owners gave us a rain check so we can go back when it is not raining. Despite the rain, I think the kids had a good time.

Is it too soon to shave????

Landon has a shaving kit that he plays with in the bathtub. While he was in the tub the other night, I sprayed some "shaving cream" on his hands and then left the room for about 10-20 seconds. This is what I came back to.......

Homecoming 2008

Last Friday we took Landon to NC State's Homecoming Parade. The parade consisted of coaches, football players, the band, cheerleaders, different organizations and of course Mr. Wuf, who is the highlight of anything NC State related.
Landon thought it was cool to see everyone up close and even got football beads from a "real" football player and of course candy.

After the parade we walked to the Bell Tower and took a few pictures of Landon and talked about the Wolfpack School...b/c Landon is all about it, and no, he is not brain washed!!! HA!!
