Snow 2014 Part 1

A few weeks ago we finally got some snow and the boys were beyond thrilled!  Parker of course wanted to make Frosty as soon as it started falling and Landon could not wait to sled.  This was of course Ansley's first snow and I took her out long enough to get her picture.  She wanted down so I let her crawl in it which was fine until she face planted into it...she was all done at that point:) We were out of school for 4 days and they canceled the make up day on that Sat. Saturday school is in our future:(

Our little cupcake is 1:)

We celebrated Ansley's birthday with family and close friends.  The theme was cupcakes and I had so much fun planning and decorating for her party!  My best friend Amy  helped me out with the decorations and cupcakes and I had the cutest cupcake cake made for her.  Ansley was a tropper and I am pretty sure she enjoyed all the attention she got that day.  Thanks to all who came and traveled here to make her first birthday so special!

Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Ansley is 1!

Januray 22nd marked Ansley's first birthday!  I cannot believe that my last baby is already one!  She has brought so much joy to our family and I cannot imagine life without her.  This day comes with thoughts of her birthparents who chose to give her life and then made the hardest decision of their lives and chose us to parent her.  We think about them daily but especially on this day.  We love them both dearly and we will never be able to thank them enough for letting us be Ansley's parents!

Ansley is on the move and into EVERYTHING!  She still is not walking but is cruising and pulling up on everything, it will not  be long.  She is saying Da-Da, Ma-Ma, Ma, Baby, Hot and a bunch of things I cannot make out.   She is eating pretty much everything we give her and is in the phase of "screaming" when your not fast enough.  She still loves her brothers and loves getting all the attention when she can.  She has changed so much and I cannot wait to see what this next year will  bring!
Her official stats are weight: 17lbs 12oz(13%), height: 29.75in(70%) and head circ:43.4cm.  The dr's say she is a healthy little girl that will most likely be tall and thin, not a bad problem to have:)

We love you Ansley and we are so happy you are our daughter!

Landon is 9!

Nine years old...that sounds so old!  Landon is one year away from double digits!  Landon celebrated his 9th birthday on Dec. 30th with some of his best buddies.  We took them ice skating at Cary Ice House and then back to our house for pizza and cake and to let them play.  They had a great time and he enjoyed having his friends and family here to celebrate with him.
Landon continues to amaze us is so many ways.  He is the best big brother to Parker and Ansley.  He helps me anyway he can and you can tell he truly loves them both dearly.  He loves his family and wants nothing more than for us all to be together.  He continues to do well in school and we are so proud of how well he does.  He loves God and loves doing his devotions every night, going to church and helping others.

Landon...you may be 9 years old but you are my first baby and always will be!  Your mom and dad love you so much and are so proud of you.  We are thankful that God chose us to be your parents!

11 months!

Ansley turned 11 months old on December 22 as well.  I cannot believe that my baby will be turning a year old in one month.  It seems like yesterday that she was born.  It is has been a busy month for Miss Ansley.  She continues to be into everything, she loves trying new food, is becoming more independent when she's eating, saying more words, cruising along the furniture and learning how to totally aggreviate her brothers.

Christmas Day 2013

Christmas Day was filled with lots of excitement this year!  Parker was really into it and of course Landon was too.  This was Ansley's first Christmas which is always special.  All three of the kids got up at different times which was nice.  We were able to truly spend one on one time with each of them and enjoy their excitment as they came downstairs to see what Santa brought them.  Landon got up first and was thrilled to see his Nook and new bike.  Parker was next and he was excited about his new frosty, batman house and all the little guys he loves.  We put Ansley down and she crawled right over to her new babydoll.  It was really cute:)  After checking out all of their gifts, the kids ate breakfast and sang Happy Birthday to Jesus.
Josh's parents came over to exchange gifts and spend some time with the kids and my mom stopped in to see what Santa brought them.  We left our house around 2pm and headed to Danville to spend Christmas night with my dad and his family.  Once everyone was gone the kids opened up their gifts from them.  Once again, they were totally spoiled and got lots of cool things.
Our children are so blessed with awesome grandparents that love the dearly and I am so thankful they get to spend the holidays with them all!
