Comparison...

Just thought I would post a picture of the first day of 1st grade and the last day of 1st grade...it is amazing how much they change....

It's a wrap....

Landon is officially done with the first grade!  His last day of school was June 1st.  He has had a fabulous year and has grown so much academically.  He has made some great friends and had great teachers this year.  I know he will miss this group and his teachers but he is looking forward to starting 2nd grade in July!

                        Not only was she a great teacher but a Wolfpack Fan!

They had an end of the year party a few days before as well.  The students were presented with a certificate, a book and a beach ball that they all got each other to sign.  They also did a great slide show and video as well.

Memorial Day Weekend 2012

We made our annual trip to the lake this past weekend for Memorial Day.  As usual, we had a great time and of course the kids loved it!  Landon could live at the lake this time of year and Parker is loving it more and more every year.  Landon is riding the jet ski now pretty fast, swimming like crazy in the lake, loves riding the boat and of course the gold cart is always a hit.  Parker spent most of the time in the baby pool (which he loves), loves the boat, the golf cart is a huge hit and he had his first jet ski experience this time.  He kept telling me to go faster...he is going to be a dare devil for sure!

Oh and Landon played 18 holes of golf for the first time and loved it!

Y Guides Camping Trip

Landon and Josh joined Y Guides this year.  They have had a blast getting to know their tribe and doing all the fun activities.  They ended their year with a camping trip to Camp Seagull.  Before they went there, Landon, Josh and one of his good buddies and dad went down a day early.  They went to the Battleship in Wilmington and then headed to camp.  They had a great time and I know are looking forward to next year!

Little Gym

I decided that Parker and I would do Little Gym these past few months while the weather was cool.  We went for several months every Monday.  Parker loved going and made lots of new friends.  He has his last class a few weeks ago.
