Snow Days!

So we all know that it is rare for the Raleigh area to get snow but we woke up to about 2 1/2 inches this morning and it is still snowing! I think we are up to about 4 1/2 inches now and Landon is so excited. Some of the kids in the neighborhood came over and went sleding down the hill at our house.
I have to say I woke up around midnight to peak outside to see if it was snowing. Not because I wanted a day off (which I already knew I had) but I REALLY wanted Landon to see and be able to play in the snow.

Handy Men!

Last weekend Josh and Landon replaced the kitchen faucet for me. We have had horrible water pressure for months now and have tried numerous fixes, all of which failed! Thanks to the Jones's for doing a little research on the faucets we both had, they replaced theirs first and it worked! So, we did ours next and guess what.....it WORKED! I am a much happier camper now that I can wash dished a little quicker!

Birthday cont'd

Landon had his birhtday party at school the first week after the Christmas break. I made Diego cupcakes and got to hang out in his class for lunch/cupcakes. It was quite a treat! Landon of course LOVED having me there and showed me everything in his class (like I have never seen it before, right?).

Landon's Birthday Party

Landon had a great birthday party yesterday! He has LOTS of friends, great cake, fun games and did I mention MR. WUF! For those of you that know Landon, know that he is obsessed with the Wolfpack and he LOVES Mr. Wuf. So, this year we decided on a Wolfpack theme and what is a Wolfpack party with no wolf? We sent Mr. Wuf an invitation and Landon did not think he was coming b/c he had not RSVP'd!

The kids started the party with making special frames, decorated some goodie bags and topped it off with cake and ice cream. They then ventured outside to play. We looked up and Mr. Wuf was walking down the street! The look in Landon's eyes was priceless! He was so excited as were his buddies. Mr. Wuf was great with the kids. He played games, helped with the pinata, attempted to get on the swing set, helped Landon open presents, took lots of pictures and played chase.

It's a boy!

Kris and Christy found out today they are having a boy! We are thrilled that they will have a little boy in June! Landon cannot wait to have a boy cousin to play with!!!

Happy New Year!

New Year's Eve was pretty uneventful. We had dinner with the Jones's and then Landon spent the night with Colby. This was Landon's first sleepover at someone's house so I think he was a little nervous but he did great!
Josh and I were going to go out but instead we stayed home and organized the playroom. Boy how times have changed!

Landon had a great 4th birthday! He started the morning out with some gifts from

Josh and I and then a little Happy Birthday song with his muffin top breakfast(only the best for our kid). We hung out at home for a little bit and then we were off to Monkey Joe's (an inflatable jumping place) with his best buddy Colby. They played there for several hours and then it was lunch time. Landon got to pick so his choice was Moe's...yes, I said Moe's. After a great lunch we took Colby home and headed home for a nap. After nap time it was off to dinner with Josh's side of the family. Again, Landon picked the place and it was Japanesse. He LOVES Japanesse food....maybe eating it all the time when I was pregnant paid off!

All in all he had a great day! His birthday party is Saturday...the theme is a Wolfpack Party where there are surprises in store!!! Stay tuned.....
