Mickey Mouse

The club in our neighborhood have family themed nights for dinner and this past week was Mickey Mouse.  Of course when we found out, we had to take Parker.  He LOVES Mickey, or Ickey has he calls him.  Parker had his back towards the door so when Mickey walked in he did not see him.  When we told him to turn around, he got the biggest smile on his face.  He took pictures with him, danced with him and pretty much "stalked" him the rest of the night.  Landon was excited about going for Parker and of course he had fun too!

Easter 2012

HE is Risen!!!
We celebrated Easter last weekend with the traditional egg dyeing, Easter egg hunts and lunch together.  Landon has been really sweet about the holidays and always acknowledges why we truly celebrate the season.  He was excited about going to church and hearing more about Jesus and how he died for our sins.  Of course, he also was very excited about the Easter Bunny.  Parker is starting to "get it" and was connecting the bunny with eggs...it was cute.  However, he was not really into the egg hunting, once he got one, he was ready to open and it and of course eat it.

Here are a few pics from the weekend....

Disney World- March 2012

We spent the first week of track out at Disney World.  It was Landon's 2nd trip and Parker's first!  We decided to stay in Fort Wilderness in a cabin.  The boys loved it and it was very fitting for our family.  We drove to Orlando in one day and the kids did great!  We spent the first day at Sea Wolrd and the rest of the time at the Disney parks.  Landon rode his first rollercoaster(s) and Parker loved the characters, especially Mickey Mouse.  We did several character dinings, Chef Mickey, Mickey's Backyard BBQ and Hollywood and Vine.  They both enjoyed getting the autographs and of course they enjoyed the rides and shows.   Landon was able to go through the Jedi Training and "fight" Dark Vader which was certainly a huge hit!  Parker was a trooper as he skipped many naps and several late nights.

We cannot wait to go back in a few years!!!
