Parker's Veggie Tales Party!

This past Saturday, Oct. 15th, we celebrated Parker's 2nd birthday with family and friends.  Parker is really into Veggie Tales so that was the theme of his party.  He LOVED his cake, thanks Ma, and had a blast opening his presents.  Parker enjoyed the cake, his presents and playing with all the kids.

WOW....where did the time go?

We celebrated Parker's 2nd birthday today!  It really just feels like we were bringing him home from the hospital.  He woke up this morning to a huge elmo balloon and a number 2 balloon.  He was super excited about his surprise! We had cinamon rolls and sang "happy birthday" to him to start his day.  For dinner, nana and papa came over and we had cake and of course sang to him again.  He opened his gifts and played hard. 

Parker has truly been a blessing to our family.  He is full of energy, into everything and sweet as can be.  He has a laid back personality(when he is not mad) and he loves to play.  We cannot imagine life without him!!!

I am posting his birth picture, 1 year and 2nd year in this post and will post some pics from his actual birthday and his party this upcoming weekend.

Date Knight!

Chick Filet hosted Date Knight for mother-son's on October 5, 2011.  Josh came home a little early so Landon and I could head our for our date.  When Josh got home, he and I were talking and the door bell rang.  When I went to the door, Landon was standing there with flowers for me...too sweet!

They had the restaurant decorated Medievil, people were dressed up and there were activities for us to do together.  We had a great time and I look forward to MANY more dates with him.

Alexis and Alex's Wedding!

Josh's cousin got married a few weeks ago in Ohio so we packed up the car and off we went for the wedding.  Landon was the ring bearer and has been waiting for a year for the big day! 
We left on Sept. 28th, 2011 and drove halfway.  We drove the rest of the way on Thursday.  The kids did much better in the car than we anticipated, especially Parker.
We were able to check the area out, went to a zoo type place where you could feed the animals and of course enjoyed the wedding festivities. 
The wedding was Oct. 1st and despite the rainy, cold weather, the wedding was beautiful and Landon did an awesome job!!!

Hockey has started...

Well, technically it started a few weeks ago but I am behind on the blog.  Landon absolutely LOVES hockey and has actually proven to be pretty good at it.  He plays every Monday and is enjoying it....we will see where it takes us!
